I get asked alot of Fido is going to get along with Felix.
The answer is yes, at least around here all my animals get
along. I don't really know where the idea of cats and
dogs not getting along came from but it's just not true.
I remember years ago we had a Norwegian Elkhound
named Molly. One day she was laying in the living room
and she had a cat, a Maltese dog and a bunny climbing
around on her. Adding the rabbit to the mix was the
kids doing. Not only did Molly not care if they were

loving it and it was the sweetest thing to watch.

of pets stores and other public places until
the puppy is 4 months old. Their immune
system is still immature and they could pick
something up. The risk is not worth it. If
you decide to immunize them, then they are
at an even greater risk for 2 weeks after

me because all my puppies will choose you. They are all
friendly and sweet, we rarely have a shy one.

How I Determine the Size Your Puppy Will Be
This is how I determine the size your puppy will be when full grown.
I look at how much the mama and dad weigh and expect the litter of
puppies to fall somewhere in between. Then I look at each individual
puppy. Some are quite obviously going to be much smaller than others. I
am always honest. I would never lie just to sell a puppy. I have never had
a puppy I could not sell so it does not matter to me if you buy one
particular puppy or not. I would rather you be happy with your puppy
than not. To me it is not about "making a sale."
I never make a promise on size and always do my best to get you as close
to the size you want. You will notice that I always use the words probably
or about when referring to a puppys weight.

in error. The dog was probably not even a pure breed dog. Many dogs
are mixes and are sold as AKC, it is not hard to do.

We Love Our Puppies
I have to tell you that it is very hard to write
about my puppies because I feel like I am saying
the same thing about each puppy! But it is true,
they are ALL very sweet and loving!
People often ask me which breed is my favorite.
I guess it depends on who I am holding or playing
with! They are so loving and sweet! I love that all
they want to do is love you! To me it is amazing
that we get to have something like that in our
lives! How can one small animal fill our hearts
with so much love?
I have to add here, that my children and husband
have the same sentiments, my daughters
especially! They hate to see a puppy go too, but it
is so nice to make people happy!
Even though it is alot of hard work to raise a
litter, we all find it extremely rewarding and
enjoy it immensely.

Puppies are born paper trained. How cool is that?
The first time you take a litter out of their cage,
they head straight for the papers we have down
and they go potty. We have learned to put the
papers by the door in our kitchen too because that
is another place they like to go potty. By the door!
I think they just know that the outside is beyond
the door and that is where they are supposed to
go potty.
I don't really know if this happens for other
breeders but it does for us.
They are so smart and easy to train.
