For those of you who haven't held a puppy in awhile, you
cannot imagine how sweet they are or how soft. There is
nothing equal to sitting and holding a puppy on your lap and
petting him. They are so soft and silky and when they
climb up into your neck to give you kisses, it is unbelievable.

My puppies are family raised and loved
even before they get to your house!

None of my puppies are yippy!

After you place a deposit or before you get your puppy, go to my I'm
Getting a Puppy Page, there it will take you step by step through the
process of what you need and what needs to be done. Please let me
know if you need any help with this.

Please please please, keep your puppies out of pets
stores and other public places until the puppy is 4
months old. Their immune system is still immature
and they could pick something up. They are at an
even greater risk for 2 weeks after they are
immunized. See my Immunizations Page for more
information about this.

I will only accept calls between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.. If you are having an emergency
and have bought a puppy from me than please do call me.

Please respect the time that I need for my family and myself.

Sometimes I have my machine on when I am at home and will call you back when I get a
free minute.

If you live in another state, please keep in mind that when it is 9:00 p.m. where you live,
it may be 11:00 p.m. where I live. I can't tell you how many phone calls I have gotten late
at night, even at 3:00 a.m.

I have to tell you that it is very hard to write about my puppies because I feel like
I am saying the same thing about each puppy! But it is true, they are ALL very
sweet and loving!

People often ask me which breed is my favorite. I guess it depends on who I am
holding or playing with! They are so loving and sweet! I love that all they want to
do is love you! To me it is amazing that we get to have something like that in our
lives! How can one small animal fill our hearts with so much love?

I have to add here, that my children and husband have the same sentiments, my
daughters especially! They hate to see a puppy go too, but it is so nice to make
people happy!

Even though it is alot of hard work to raise a litter, we all find it extremely
rewarding and enjoy it immensely.

Below is an email I received from a woman who purchased a
Buttercup from me. I had to ship her puppy as she lives out
of state.

Hi Maryjo

Well we finally arrived home from boston about 2:30 am. We
are so happy with this puppy. She is just so cute and smart.

When we got home we let her walk around the kitchen then we
brought her outside and she went potty already. I couldn’t
believe it.!

Gave her just a little water and food put her in her create ,
she cried a little and then slept till 7:30 , brought her out
right away and she went potty again. I still can’t believe it. We
gave her a bath this morning and she had no problem with it.
Ate a little this morning and more at lunch. Now she is
sleeping in her create at my shop. Pleasant Bay Trading
Company. She’s sleeping right now. I let people view her from
afar until she is comfortable with us all.

Puppies are pretty much born with pink noses and sometimes
with pink around their eyes too! The black rims around their
eyes and their black noses really makes them look cute and we
really enjoy watching it fill in!

Many breeds are supposed to have a black rim around their eyes
and they are known for it. Maltese is one of those breeds.
These black places on a puppies face are called points. If you
watch a litter grow, you can watch this fill in!

These puppies are Buttercups born 1-30-10. They will be ready for their new homes around
March 27th.

Their predicted weight right now is 7-9 lbs. They are $1200. With any teacups being $2000.

These are both female Buttercups. They are expected to
weigh between 7-9 lbs. Their birthdate is 1-25-10 and they
should be ready for their new homes around March 22nd.
They are $1200. with teacups being $2000.
